Contract Salary: NJC Grade E SCP 22 - 25 £21,074.00- £23,111.00 pro rata for part time working

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join a small team working with School Governors.
You will be responsible for providing governance support to school governing board meetings, committees and hearings through preparing for, attending and minuting meetings, advising on school governance enquiries and decision making procedures. A key aspect of the role is the ability to take accurate and concise minutes of formal meetings. You will also support training and development for governors and on occasion provide support for other meetings of the council.
You will need to have excellent communication skills and be confident in liaising with senior leaders of an organisation. You should possess a high level of personal organisation skills and the ability to act on your own initiative and work to tight deadlines, within set procedures. You will also need to have the ability to work with diplomacy, confidentiality and sensitivity and have a strong awareness of good governance practices.
You must be able to regularly attend meetings outside normal office hours between 3pm and 8pm.
