Contract Salary: Soulbury SEPA 3-8 or 9 or 10 or 11, £40,949. - £55,040. (all previously awarded SPA points will be honoured if relevant confirmations are received)

We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic colleague to join us from September 2020. This is a new and exciting role and is part of wider initiatives to help build capacity of our settings to better identify, assess, and deliver evidence based interventions in the area of cognition and learning. The post holder will work closely with EPS, wider SEND and school improvement colleagues to improve outcomes and promote inclusion of children and young people with SEND in Blackpool settings.

We are looking for experienced colleagues who are:

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about the application of psychology to achieve better outcomes for Blackpool children and young people
  • Committed to building capacity within educational settings and other organisations
  • Committed to inclusive philosophy and practice across a range of mainstream and specialist settings
  • Confident and highly competent in the delivery of a full range of EP work including assessment, consultation, intervention, training and research
  • Committed to CPD and being a reflective practitioner

Minimum requirements for post: Psychology degree (or BPS equivalent); Professional Qualification in Educational Psychology; HCPC registration and eligibility for chartered psychologist status.
