Salary: Teachers Pay Scale, M1-M6, £25,714.00 - £36,961.00

Due to the current post holder’s maternity leave, the Governors wish to appoint a suitably experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Year Two Teacher to join our Key Stage One department.
If you have very high standards and expectations, can demonstrate that you are hardworking and that you work well in a team then this may be the job for you.
Please state your curriculum strengths and interests in your application. An interest or skills in developing the use of outdoors, communication and language and design and technology would be an advantageous.
NQTs are welcome to apply but must have Year 2 experience. The school offers a full programme of NQT support and opportunities.

Purpose of the job
You will be working under the general direction of the Headteacher to carry out a range of duties as a class teacher in the Kay Stage One Team. Through the delivery of an appropriate curriculum, high quality teaching and learning, you will work to raise pupil attainment, develop each pupil’s potential and meet the personal, social and emotional needs of the pupils in your care.

Interviews for short listed candidates will take place shortly after the closing date. The interview process will include a lesson observation, a written task and an interview.
