Swimming Teacher
Location: Chorley Leisure Limited (All Seasons Leisure Centre and Brinscall Swimming Pool)
Salary: £15.57 per hour
Swimming Teacher roles will attract a market supplement and all level 2 qualified teacher's pay to be reviewed annually.
Hours/Working pattern: Minimum 6 hrs per week up to 15 hrs per week
DBS Check required: Yes
We have several exciting opportunities for Level 2 Swimming Teacher’s, across our Chorley Leisure sites.
If you have a passion for teaching, swimming and have experience of planning, and delivering a range of swimming lessons we have a role for you.
All our Swimming Teachers should hold a minimum of a Level 2 swimming teacher qualification, awarded by Swim England or the Swimming Teachers Association (STA) and possess a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ). Training for both Level 2 swimming teacher and NPLQ will be provided for the right candidate.
In the Swimming Teacher role, we will offer ongoing training and development opportunities, including support to ensure your personal competency is maintained for your NPLQ qualification via monthly staff training, enhancing your customer service skills and much more.

Passionate about helping people of all ages learn to swim or become stronger, faster, or more confident when swimming.
You will work with pupils in groups to motivate and instruct them during their lessons.

You will thrive on supporting pupils to achieve their potential, drawing on your continual knowledge and experience of industry best practice whilst applying teaching skills in the most effective way.
Always looking to seek out development opportunities and potential ideas to further improve the service we provide.
