SCP 8-11 - £22,777- £24,054 

36.25 hours per week (hours to vary depending on the needs of the service)

We are looking to recruit an HGV Driver for our Street Cleansing Team within our Street scene department on permanent basis to operate the councils refuse collection vehicle on the afternoon shift:

Hours will vary depending on the needs of the service but will primarily 

Monday – Thursday 12:30 - 20:15

                 Friday      10:45 - 18:30 

 

The post requires the holder to have a full EU Class 2 HGV driving licence

 

The successful applicant may also be called upon to undertake various Streetscene tasks including: operating mechanical sweepers, supporting the councils events programme, driving other council vehicles, completing litter picking duties, removing fly tipped rubbish/waste and general grounds maintenance tasks therefore a flexible attitude to work and the ability to multitask are essential. You will need to provide a high-quality service to the residents of Chorley.
