Salary Range: Grade B point 3-4 Actual salary £3240.00
Pikes Lane Primary is looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor who will join us as soon as possible. The successful candidate will work with our children from Reception through to Year 6. As the role is part-time during term time, it is ideal for those of you seeking work opportunities during school hours. We are seeking a committed and motivated individual who will be part of our friendly, welcoming team. To be suitable in this role, we are looking for someone with empathy, energy - and enthusiasm!
Responsibilities of the Lunchtime Supervisor includes;
· Ensure pupils enter the dining room safely and behave appropriately when queueing for their meal, and to ensure pupils have or are provided with a drink
· To help with spillages, cutting up food and caring for pupils’ personal needs
· Ensure plates, etc., are cleared from tables, wiped down and to ensure a clean and tidy environment is maintained
· Assist in collecting pupils from collection point and escort to hall/classroom or patrol and supervise school areas used by the pupils at mealtimes
· Offer, where applicable, a basic first aid service, during the mealtime to deal with any accidents that occur safely and quickly
· Supervise the playground to ensure student’s safety.
