The Elton High School is seeking to appoint a Design Technology Technician (Grade 5, £20,390 - £20,731, term time + 5 days, 37 hours per week).

This is an exciting opportunity for colleagues with existing experience of working in a Design Technology role, or for colleagues seeking career development, to join a highly experienced technology team within an Ofsted rated good school.

The post holder will be responsible to the Head of Design Technology and will support the implementation of the technology curriculum through the development and management of practical equipment and resources. This post would suit someone who is practically minded, resourceful and enthusiastic and who enjoys working as part of a busy team alongside students and teaching professionals. Applicants should be able to demonstrate flexibility, good organisation, communication and IT skills. Previous experience of working with CADCAM machinery / wood cutting machinery is essential.
