Broad Oak Primary School are looking to appoint two After School Club Playworkers to join our busy After School Club provision.

In general, the role involves:

    • Working to encourage children’s positive and safe play both in an indoor & outdoor setting. 
    • Dealing with any inappropriate or unsafe behaviours or other issues, including minor accidents and/or injuries
    • Working well in a busy environment and as part of a team
    • A willingness to promote and support children’s physical activity e.g. encouraging children to play games
    • The ideal candidate will take part in compulsory training eg. safeguarding, food hygiene which may on occasion, fall outside of contracted hours
 
 
 
 
 

We are seeking enthusiastic Playworkers with experience of working with children in a childcare/wraparound setting.  

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Play Manager to set up a fun and engaging environment for children attending After School Club.
