Broad Oak Primary School are looking to appoint two After School Club Playworkers to join our busy After School Club provision.
In general, the role involves:

- Working to encourage children’s positive and safe play both in an indoor & outdoor setting.
- Dealing with any inappropriate or unsafe behaviours or other issues, including minor accidents and/or injuries
- Working well in a busy environment and as part of a team
- A willingness to promote and support children’s physical activity e.g. encouraging children to play games
- The ideal candidate will take part in compulsory training eg. safeguarding, food hygiene which may on occasion, fall outside of contracted hours
- Working to encourage children’s positive and safe play both in an indoor & outdoor setting.
We are seeking enthusiastic Playworkers with experience of working with children in a childcare/wraparound setting.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Play Manager to set up a fun and engaging environment for children attending After School Club.
