Social Worker – Grade 6 (post completion of AYSE) and Grade 7 (Level 3) roles available

Contract Type: Permanent and Fixed Term opportunities are available.

Salary: up to £34,106 dependent upon experience (Grade 6 up to £29,909, Grade 7 up to £34,106) 

Hours: Full-time (36.66 per week) and part-time positions available

Based: Units 7-13, Whitney Court, Southlink, Hamilton Street, Oldham OL4 1DB

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role you will need:  

  • a professional qualification in social work;
  • to have successfully completed the ASYE and have two years post-qualification experience / to have successfully completed your PQ
  • to be experienced in child protection, court work, permanency (including looked after children) and children in need.
  • to have a child-centred approach
  • to possess good assessment and analytical skills
  • the ability to plan, co-ordinate and deliver packages of support;
  • the ability to write reports to a high standard.
  • to work in partnership to support holistic care planning
