We are looking to appoint a Cleaner to work at Broadfield Community Primary School, for 16.25 hours per week Monday to Friday 6.00am – 9.15am, all year round. Outside term times there is some flexibility with the hours.

Hours may be subject to change dependant on the needs of the service. Overtime may be required time to time and the appropriate rate will be paid.

We are looking for someone who is hard-working, energetic and an honest person with excellent customer care skills and the ability to provide a quality cleaning service within a busy school. The ideal person should have good attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team and be able to communicate clearly with and relate positively to all members of the school community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness around the school and duties will include toilet cleaning, mopping, cleaning of internal glazing, vacuuming, use of equipment include scrubbers driers and buffing machines.

Cleaning experience is essential, although persons with skills appropriate and a willing attitude are invited to apply.

Full uniform/PPE will be provided.

Candidates who are unsuccessful after interview may be considered for casual cleaner positions and further information will be provided.
