Following the promotion of the previous post holder, the Headteacher and Governors of Parkfield Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and inspiring teacher with a passion for developing outstanding teaching and learning. The successful candidate will join the school’s senior leadership team as Assistant Headteacher and continue to build on the strengths of the school with positivity and ambition. The successful candidate will be class based with the responsibility for leading EYFS, KS1 and Early reading. We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher who is: · An outstanding teacher with experience of teaching across the infants · Able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of both the Early Years and KS1 curriculum. · Passionate about early reading and phonics and able to lead this key area of the school · An inspirational and highly motivated individual. · A leader who is aspirational for all our children and who is committed to excellence and achievement for all. · A team-builder who can motivate and develop other staff. · A leader who sees and grasps the benefits of working with other schools within our PiraMidd collaborative.
