The Governors of Milnrow Parish CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a dedicated, efficient, enthusiastic and approachable Lunchtime Organiser to work as part of a highly motivated team. This part-time position is for 6 hours a week (1hr 12 mins per day at lunchtime).

The postholder will start as soon as possible depending on the availability of applicant. Training will be provided for the position.

Milnrow Parish CE Primary School is a “Good” School with a team that is committed, welcoming, supportive and friendly. Being a Voluntary Aided School we have strong links with the Church and our community and hold these in high regard. All our staff are dedicated to ensuring all our children get the best education and primary school experience.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of lunchtimes both inside and in the playground. Building good relationships with pupils and staff. Our children are friendly and well behaved.

The Job Description will show the duties expected but as a guide the successful applicant will be required to carry out their duties with their Job Share which are:

· Supervision of the pupils in the dining area/s and playground/elsewhere as required by the Headteacher.

Candidate requirements:

· Willingness to consent to and apply for an enhanced/standard Criminal Records Bureau disclosure check

· Tact and diplomacy in all interpersonal relationships

· Personal commitment to excellence in service delivery

· Desire to pursue own personal development and to undertake training as required

· Self motivation and personal drive to complete tasks to required time scales and quality standards

· Discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues

· Ability to follow all policies and procedures within school including Safeguarding and behaviour policies

· To carry out all duties with full regard to the City Council Equal Opportunities Policy
