Teaching Assistant required with effect from 01 September 2024.

18 hours per week (Wednesday – Friday) including Midday Assistant duties.

This is a fixed term contract for 1 year due to SEN funding.

Great Moor Junior School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our caring, friendly and forward-thinking school.

The successful candidate will work closely alongside our staff team providing learning support and behaviour management to individual children within an inclusive environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is creative and has a passion for working with children with special educational needs/behavioural difficulties
• Is confident in delivering a firm but fair approach
• Is empathetic, patient and uses their initiative when working with children
• Is flexible and has experience of working with KS2 children.
• Enjoys working as part of a team
