Relational practice underpins our work and we are committed to developing your social work skills and knowledge.

You will be working at the forefront of best practice as we realign our services to meet demand and embrace new models of working. We have already successfully established the No Wrong Door model for vulnerable adolescents and are keen to develop true multi-disciplinary working as part of the planned alignment. An exciting opportunity has arisen here at Rochdale Children’s Services to join the

Our social work model is relationship based practice as we believe trusting relationships are essential to improving children’s lives. You will be working in an environment where professionals from every agency share information, expertise and work together to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children and young people in the borough.

We have organised our service to follow a child’s journey and this includes having an effective early help and safeguarding hub at the point of entry, first response teams, dedicated court and child protection teams as well as an integrated cared for children service.

Our service offers intensive support and interventions which make a difference to the children and young people we work with, strengthening families and improving outcomes.
