Are you a passionate teaching assistant looking to make a difference in a welcoming, caring and child-centred school? Do you want to be fundamental in helping children and families? Are you looking for opportunities to continually develop your own practice in a supportive school community? Well … Irlam Endowed is the school for you.
Our school values of Kindness, Resilience, Respect and Diversity make our school a great place to be for everyone. We pride ourselves on being a positive, community-focused inclusive team that constantly strives to improve our educational offer to all children. We have a tradition of strong links with parents, carers and the local community.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate pastoral teaching assistant to join our school community. In September 2023, we opened our Retreat which is a pastoral base available to all our children and families. We want to continue to develop this provision and its impact on our wider school community. The successful candidate will be a safeguarding lead who will take a lead on Early Help and attendance monitoring. We want an individual who is able to demonstrate exemplary pastoral practice, and who has a good understanding of how children with all additional needs learn. It is an ideal prospect for someone who is passionate about supporting children with SEMH needs and committed to supporting our families.
