The Governors of St. Edmund’s RC Primary School are seeking to appoint an
enthusiastic, driven and hardworking class Teacher. We are a 1.5 entry primary
school with 350 pupils on roll. The role will be based in Upper Key Stage 2.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- is an excellent class teacher with successful
experience in a primary school and knowledge of the year 5 and Year 6
curriculum
- loves working with children, cares about them
and is determined that every child is successful regardless of need or ability
- can actively support the distinctive Catholic
ethos of the school
- is a team player – someone who will work
effectively alongside a proactive team in mixed year classes

St Edmund’s
received a good judgement during our recent Catholic Schools Inspection in
January 2024 and in our OFSTED inspection in September 2021. We are looking for
the right candidate to join our team to inspire and engage the children in our
school.
